Cook Inlet Modeling Workshop

In March 2010, AOOS hosted a Cook Inlet modeling workshop in Anchorage that brought together modelers from state and federal agencies, academic institutions, and private and non-profit organizations. The goal of the workshop was to (1) provide a forum for the modeling community to share information on existing circulation modeling efforts and forcing conditions, (2) identify gaps in models and data, and, (3) assess the needs for existing and future numerical forecast models and the observations to support them.
