First Look at Yukon Chinook Run Timing

An advisory has been issued for harvesters, managers and the public about how spring weather conditions may impact the timing of the Chinook salmon run on the Yukon River delta. The initial forecast is for an earlier than average timing for the middle of the run, with the first big pulse of Yukon Chinook salmon hitting the delta around the end of the second week in June.  See the environmental data and historical Yukon Chinook run timing on the project web page.
